This walnut wood ring’s design was inspired by steampunk, a subgenre of science fiction that combines technology and artistic designs from the 19th century. It is inner lined with ebony wood and uses tiny watch pieces for the inlay. One of my favorites to make and to show off to others! View more photos and order your steampunk ring today at:
I just love this ring! I wear it more often than any of my others just so I can share it with people I come across. The outer wood is walnut, and it is inner lined with ebony wood. The center channel of the inlay is cut out just enough so the ebony wood serves as a background where I then individually place gold nuggets. The dark wood of ebony really makes those gold nuggets stand out! I then enclose that center inlay with two strips of gold filled wire. After the inlay is done I apply a protective finish to the entire ring which makes it silky smooth to the touch. Order yours today or view more photos at:
I took the ring I was working on yesterday a step further and added two copper wires to enclose the malachite stone inlay. The similarity in color between the mahogany wood and the copper offers a subtle transition from the wood of the ring to the inlay. I now offer this wood ring in my shop, just visit:
This wood ring is made using two of my favorite materials, mahogany wood and malachite stone. The color and grain of mahogany wood is like no other and always turns out beautiful! And the shade of green from the malachite stone really stands out and offers a “richness” to the overall look of this ring. The color combination of this ring makes it one of my top favorites to make and wear. You can view more photos of this ring at:
Today I’m introducing a new wood ring design to my shop. It features a cherry outer wood, inner lined with ebony along with a double ebony wood inlay and a mixture of tiger eye & obsidian in between. One of my favorite stones to work with is tiger eye because of the way it reflects light. It really catches your eye! I have more photos of this ring on its product page, check it out here.
I’ve added another ring design to my shop today. It’s a maple wood ring inlaid with amethyst stone. Simple, but beautiful! A great gift for that certain someone who loves the color purple. You can order yours today or view more pics at the following link…
